HR31 RACK EAR INSTRUCTIONS

The HR31 rack ear kit includes:

2 - Rack ears

4 - Small flat head screws

4 - Round head screws

Pull out the silver screws on the sides of the unit. We recommend doing one side at a

time to keep the unit together and to make assembly easier. Place the rack ear on the unit

and use the round head screws to attach the ear to the unit. DO NOT TIGHTEN THE

ROUND HEAD SCREWS ALL THE WAY AT THIS POINT. LEAVE THE SCREWS BACKED

OFF SLIGHTLY UNTIL THE FRONT FLAT HEAD SCREWS ARE IN, THEN COME BACK AND

TIGHTEN THE ROUND HEAD SCREWS AFTER THE FRONT SCREWS ARE IN TO AVOID

BREAKING THE PLASTIC FRONT PANEL OF THE UNIT.

Use the flat head screws to attach the front of the

unit to the rack ears. After the flat head screws are

in go back as described above and fully tighten the

side round head screws. NOTE: YOU ARE ATTACH-

ING A METAL BRACKET TO PLASTIC. DO NOT

OVER TIGHTEN THE SCREWS AS THEY WILL

EASILY BREAK THE PLASTIC FRONT OF THE

UNIT.
